Luca Bigazzi at ICAS / Athens

From June 2nd to June 7th I have been in mission to Athens in Greece at The Fifteenth International Conference on Autonomic and Autonomous Systems, ICAS 2019.

In this conference I presented an article about my research project. In particular in the presentation I showed “DART”, a small UAV prototype able to use the vision to move in indoors enviroments.
This project is currently a work in progress and so participating in this conference was very useful for comparing myself with other researchers.

During the conference I found very interesting the work presented by Elisabeth Welburn, because she presented an navigation system for quadcopters that use a video based navigation system very similar to the one shown in my article. This mission was very useful for me because I could get
many interesting ideas for the future developments in my research.
